- One size which is suitable for ages 2 - 8 years.
- Machine washable at 40 degrees using non-biological detergent. Can be tumble-dried. Ensure fastenings are closed before washing.
Please remember to remove the cape before your child goes to sleep.
Delivery
Orders placed before 3pm weekdays are shipped on the same day. We also ship orders received before 11pm on Saturday on the same day. We use the Tracked 24 service for UK orders and Tracked AirMail for overseas orders. We hold stock of our popular sizes and designs in the USA which is used to fulfill local orders.
Returns
We are always happy to refund or exchange unwanted items in a resaleable condition. Just drop us a line or give us a call to organise. Our phone lines are open from 11am to 4pm (UK time) weekdays. In most cases, we are able to cover the cost of return postage.
Our products are machine washable at 40°C using a non-biological, wool safe washing powder. If your washing machine tends to tangle clothes during the wash cycle, we suggest putting your ScratchSleeves in a laundry bag or pillow case to minimise stretching. This is particularly important in North America where the washing machine drums are much larger than those in Europe. We advise against using biological detergents and eco-washing balls as these will degrade the silk mitts. More here.
To be effective, your child’s hands should sit within the silk mitts so it’s important to get the correct size. We advise purchasing on the basis of wingspan rather than their age. With your child’s arm stretched out to the side, measure from the centre of their back to the tips of their fingers. Double this measurement to calculate the wingspan then use the size chart to find your child’s size. Our sizing tends to run large so we suggest refraining from buying a larger size even if your child’s wingspan is close to the top of the size range. More here .
